Join us on Friday 27th March 2026, as we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day with a day packed with fun for the whole family including golf, games for the kids, on-course food and drinks, and an evening prizegiving with dinner, and an auction.
Golf in New Zealand, founded by Mat Perry, proudly collaborates with Hastings Golf Club to present Tee 21 – a fun-filled ambrose golf day supporting the UpsideDowns Education Trust. This incredible event raises funds to empower children with Down syndrome to talk, read and write by helping fund speech and language therapy in New Zealand.
Itinerary
11:30am: Welcome & registration + buffet lunch served for golfers – ham buns).
12:30pm: Golf shotgun start.
Drinks available on course via donation (delivered by golf carts – details provided on the day).
3pm–6pm: Kids Zone - free for families to enjoy featuring a bouncy castle, kids golf coach and games and food.
6:00pm: Dinner (buffet style), prizes, and auction.
8:30–9:00pm: Event wraps up.
Golf & Dinner Information
Individual Entry: $180
Group Entry (4 People): $720
Tickets include lunch, golf, and dinner for each participant.
Dinner only (open to the public): $60 per person (ticketed separately).
Tickets for golf and dinner are open to anyone and everyone in New Zealand!
